ASP Producer
ASP Producer, also known as Davide Raso—or as David E to some of his peers—is an internationally recognized Music Producer, Podcast Producer, Audio Engineer, Mixing Engineer, Composer, Artist, and Live Music Event Planner, with over 25 years of experience in the music industry.
In 2011, he founded F5 Soundhouse in Minneapolis, MN—a music and songwriting production company focused on supporting both emerging and established singer-songwriters. F5 Soundhouse offered comprehensive in-house services including songwriting, recording, production, and artist mentorship. His productions have earned nominations and awards from the Independent Country Music Association in both 2012 and 2014. While the majority of his clients are based in the United States, Davide has also collaborated with international artists from the UK, Switzerland, and Italy. In addition to producing, he handled the audio engineering and was particularly involved in mixing the projects. Notably, he served as the lead Mixing Engineer for the acclaimed YouTube music series "FunkFriday", hosted by St. Paul Peterson (Prince, Steve Miller Band, Kenny Loggins).
Davide is also the producer of the highly rated podcast "Music On The Run", also hosted by St. Paul Peterson, where he’s had the opportunity to work with prominent musicians, comedians, and actors such as Kevin Bacon (Footloose), Phil X (Bon Jovi), Kenny Aronoff, and Nathan East (Eric Clapton), among others. In 2023, Davide was hired by TalkNorth Network Productions to produce and record the podcast "My First Concert", hosted by WCCO radio broadcaster and Hall of Famer Dave Lee. Over the past two years, he has expanded his podcast production portfolio to include shows such as "The Jon Krawczynski Show" and "The Vikings Update with Jon Krawczynski." In 2024, Davide and his wife launched their own travel and lifestyle podcast titled "Experience Italy with Friends."
In the realm of live music events, Davide has accumulated extensive experience as a planner, stage manager, stagehand, and broadcast live mixing engineer. He was contracted by KBEM Jazz88 in Minneapolis to engineer live broadcasts for major events such as the Twin Cities Jazz Festival, Minneapolis Bluesfest, and Jazz88’s own “pop-up” concert series, JazzClectic. He has also worked as a monitor engineer for various live performances.
Today, Davide resides in Montepulciano, Italy, his family’s ancestral home, alongside his wife, Tanya. He is fluent in Italian, English, and German, and has conversational skills in French and Spanish.
